*Elevation Upgrade: This feature unlocks items within certain systems and appliances that are otherwise excluded from receiving coverage. **No-Fault Upgrade: Most home warranty policies only cover repairs on items that incur damages from normal wear and tear. By purchasing Elevate Home Warranty’s No-Fault Upgrade, you can extend coverage for failures from mismatched systems, poor installation, permit fees, code violations, crane costs, and haul-away service.
Every system and appliance in your home is made up of several different components that are vulnerable to faults. Home warranty policies may not cover the repair and replacement of allparts, so it’s important that you read your Elevate sample contract to determine which components are actually covered.
Here’s a brief overview of what’s excluded from Elevate Home Warranty’s coverage. Remember: by purchasing the Elevation Upgrade, you may be able to lift the restrictions on several of these barred items.
Elevate Home Warranty is responsible for six keyholes and will provide up to four copies of a new key. However, Elevate will not cover picking locks or replace doors, door knobs, or handles.
Elevate will provide coverage for the parts responsible for the proper functioning of the dishwasher, oven/range/cooktop, built-in microwave, instant hot water dispensers, garbage disposal, and trash compactor. Racks, rollers, baskets, knobs, dials, door glass, lights, handles, and meat probe assemblies are excluded from coverage.
Central Vacuum System
Major parts of the central vacuum system are covered, except for hoses, vacuum attachments, detachable accessories, ductwork, or parts encased in concrete.

Elevate plans for an average single-family home range between $300–$500. Note: you will be charged a $150 fee for non-real estate transactions. If you are purchasing a plan as part of the closing process, you will not have to pay this fee. How to Make a Claim with Elevate Home Warranty
Elevate Home Warranty accepts claims requests 24/7. After processing your request, they will have a local service technician contact you to set up a mutually convenient time to address the issue.
In most cases, Elevate will assign you a service contractor, but if a technician isn’t available, they may authorize you to work with your own independent contractor. Note: make sure you get their approval first, otherwise, you won’t be reimbursed for the service.
All services performed are under a 30-day warranty.
