I have a brick front steps which is settling away from the brick porch. What is the best way to repair.
if you dont know, call a pro. this sort of thing shouldnt be messed around with by diyers
I have to agree with jkirk, short of actually replacing the steps, you need a company with sophisticated jacking equipment to raise and underpin the steps. "Mud jacking" might be appropriate. Mudjacking forces cement under the structure under very high pressure to lift and solidify the foundation.
really, never heard of it interesting, ive jacked up porches and put new footings in but never injected concrete
very cool process, just not something thats shown up in this region yet..i give it another couple years
