Sanding Front Porch

I am looking at refinishing the front porch on our 100 year old Craftsman Bungalow. The floors are in very good shape and were painted by the previous homeowner about 7 years ago. The floors are Douglas Fir and I think would fabulous if I left them unpainted...

BUT....what does one use to seal/protect the non-painted fir from the elements. It is a covered porch, rarely gets wet, but it is outside... Is there a Marine type of finish that I could roll on once I am done with my orbital sanding of the front porch to seal and protect?

Recommendations anyone?
