Love poems involving doors, windows, nails, etc

Yes, this is a strange post but I am looking for love poems that have references to doors, windows, fireplace/hearth, garden, floor, nails, ceiling...heck, even a basement! Why would I want this? Because I'm preparing a surprise wedding gift for my friend and their new home. I know NOTHING about poetry, so any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

The House by the Side of the Road

There are hermit souls that live withdrawn
In the place of their self-content
There are souls like stars that dwell apart in a lonely firmament
There are pioneer souls that blaze the paths where highways never run
But let me live in a house by the side of the road
And bid welcome to everyone.

Let me live in a house by the side of the road
To greet people as they go by,
They are good, they are bad, they are weak, they are strong, wise, foolish, so am I.
But I would not sit in the scourner's seat
Nor hurl the cynic's shun
Let me live in a house by the side of the road
And bid welcome to everyone.

I know there are brook-gladdened meadows ahead
And mountains of wearisome height
That the road passes on thru the long afternoon
And stretches away to the night
And still I rejoice when travelers arrive
And weep with the strangers that moan
I will not live in my house by the road
Like someone who dwells alone.

To my love, I thee prose:
Roses are red, violets are blue, this basement is dank and musty smelling, just like you. ;):p:D
