Upflush vs. Sewage Ejector

I'm adding a half bath in the basement of my old house with sewer line above the basement floor.

I'm going to have to re-pour the floor in the area of the new bath regardless, but I'm still debating between an upflush system like the Saniflo or going with a system that is sunken into the floor like a sump pump. Anyone with experience with both? Is one quieter, more reliable, easier to get replacement parts, less smelly, etc? I can't seem to find a first-hand comparison of the two systems.
