No Hot Water in the Shower

In June '07 I moved into a new modular house. Within the last month, I've noticed that the water in the shower is only lukewarm. It takes quite a few minutes to even get to this temperature. The shower faucet is a single handle. I have no problem with hot water anywhere else in the house. Even the sink in that bathroom produces plenty of hot water and it heats up quickly. Any ideas what could be causing this? Is this a job I might be able to handle on my own (I'm learning as I go!) or should I call in a plumber? Any advise would be appreciated!

Re: No Hot Water in the Shower

That could be a bad or mis-adjusted anti-scald valve on the shower valve. I would have a licensed plumber come and take a look at it if I were you. Good luck! :D
