Bathroom sink - grout or caulk

I'm re-tiling the bathroom countertop. The sinks are the original 1954 steel. Where the tile meets the sink, should the joint be completed with grout or caulk?

Caulk, so that there is a seal between the tile and sink. Grout will crack because it's dis-similar to the glazed tile and steel/porcelain sink.
