"We recently moved, so money was a little tight. Spent $20 on lumber and paint. $25 on grout and silicone etc. Found the shower door online for $40 no box/no directions. Figured it couldn't be that complicated and it wasn't. For the $85 I paid to start and complete this project, the wife nor I can complain. ALSO, I would like to thank a couple of your viewers for their suggestions on mounting the bump out to the wall. Their ideas worked out great. Thank you!"

"My latest project. It about killed me. Yeah, I thought it was going to be a 3-hour project but it turned into a 3-day job. I pulled up and removed my 25-year-old vapor barrier in the crawl space because it was ripped and no longer doing its job. I replaced it, carried it halfway up the foundation, and sealed it with liquid nails. This will never have to be done again in my lifetime."

"Last weekend was for freshening up the front and side doors’ trims. (Thank you TOH, for adding that project to your Week V list of projects!) This past weekend, it was time to repaint the doors semigloss black. I removed all of the original 1938 brass hardware and polished them all back to their like new luster. Next weekend, dress the entrance and windows for the Christmas holiday. So happy to be retired so I can finally get these long 'Honey-Do' jobs done."

"This weekend was my 'wine project' completion. I have a LARGE collection (well over 250 bottles), but they were in some rudimentary racks and then shoved in every available nook and cranny. I extracted them all, sorted them by variety and maker, put neck tag labels on them, and then assembled rackage to fit in a built-in breakfront in my dining room to create this 'wall of wine' that I can now access, find the one I'm looking for easily, and generally enjoy."
