Allied Trust Insurance Co. has a B rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and a variety of reviews from customers on its BBB profile and Google Reviews. Many reviews state negative experiences with denied claims and adjusters who are difficult to get on the phone for follow-ups.

There have been an especially high number of complaints since Hurricane Ida in August of 2021 from customers frustrated that their homes have not received the repairs they need due to a lack of communication and correspondence with the company and its adjusters.

However, the quote we received from Allied is double the national average, which is partially due to the single discount Allied Trust offers. Additionally, the company has only five years of experience, which is less than most national insurance providers, and many customers reference poor customer service after Hurricane Ida.
