sliding doors and windows leaking air

Our 32 two year old house has aluminum frame sliding doors and sliding windows. The wind was blowing the other night and I found quite a few air leaks. Any suggestions for stopping the leaks would be appreciated. Can new weather seals be purchased for this type of sliding window, or should I just calk them shut and plan on buying vinyl windows this summer.

Yes you can buy and install new weather striping. Another posibility is that the doors and windows are worn down due to use especially if they are the type that slid on aluminum tracks without glider wheels.
