Custom Curved Windows

Hi All,

I have an old, 1915 house that has some custom features. I am in need of replacing some windows that are of non-standard shape.

I'm not sure where to start to look for options to replace these. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: Custom Curved Windows

You should never replace those windows with anything new. That will only destroy the look of the house. You rebuild windows like that. And what ever you do, do not break that glass. When your house was built, true craftsmen created everything by hand most of the time. You will only be able to have the same design in a new window created, which will be rather expensive. There is nothing wrong with the windows that you have, as long as you maintain them. Once you rebuild them, they will last for a few decades before needing preventive maintanance again.

We have a Victorian house that has all the original windows and lights in each sash. We would never replace them. I have rebuilt each of them when we moved in. There was really nothing wrong with them. Other than some idiot painted them closed.
