Will it harm my lawn to cut it after a frost the night before and/or the night after? I live in western pa. This time of year, it is common to have very mild temps during the day and frost at night.
I've never seen or heard of damage. I've cut mine after a frost & didn't see any difference. I like to wait until the dampness burns off before mowing. The good news is that the grass stops growing after a few good frosts.:)
Then it's time to take care of the leaves. For that I mow with a mulching attachment in place to chop up what I can. Again dry leaves chop up better. I set the mower a little higher than my final low grass cut.
