removing a porcelain cupboard top or cutting it to accommodate plumbing

I would like to convert a hoosier cupboard into a bathroom vanity. It currently has a porcelain top that I would need to remove (and replace with a sinktop) or cut to accommodate plumbing. How do I remove or cut this porcelain top?
