Plumbing in slab

We would like to add a "mud room" to the back of our garage and move the washer/dryer from the 2nd floor into it. The problem is how do I drain the washer? We have a slab foundation with the nearest drain in the center of the house (through the kitchen). Is there another way? The woods comes to mind however that would be a problem at resale time.

Re: Plumbing in slab

You could put in a false floor to accomodate the plumbing. You you are going to need get the drain connected. You might be able to run the pipe outside of the house and put a trench around the house to where the main drain comes out of the house and tie in there. You should get some plumbing estimates just to see what your options are.
