Old cast iron basement sink has a crack

I have an old double basin cast iron sink in my basement, and use it mostly for my washing machine drain or cleaning up after I paint or do some home repair work. The sink has a hairline crack running up the back wall of one basin of the sink, and this causes some leaking when I run a load of wash. I dont care about the looks of the sink, and dont want to bring in a welder for this. Is there an easy way to seal or calk this crack so I can eliminate those minor leaks without taking this monster of a sink out completely?

If the opening is wide enough you might be able to use JB Weld if not sand the finish a little and apply some 5 minute epoxy. Won't look pretty but should do the trick.
