Brass pex fittings to galvanized

Can brass pex fittings be connected to galvanized without dielectric union?

The simple answer is no. You can get plastic fittings for PEX. That would be the better way to go.

????? Brass has always been used for connecting to galvanized--brass valves, PRV's, faucets, check valves, etc.

Not saying plastic is wrong, but what's wrong with brass?

Will it corrode like copper to galvanized?

I have never had one corrode. I would pick brass over plastic every time.
