Ideas for a stronger closet bar

Hi all,

We had a hosue built, and our builder was known to cut corners. (Of course we didnt' find this out until after we signed papers) Our closet is roughly 11' long. We didn't have it packed full of clothing, when it failed on us. There are 2 brackets holding up the bar. One bracket, the top screw was ripped out of the wall. causing the bar to fall and bend where the 2nd bracket remained attached. Now I have a bent bar and no way to hang our clothing.

I'm having a difficult time finding something long enough to replace the old bar. I really don't want to use 2 bars, and I would like to reinforce what we do have. to prevent another failure. Any ideas where I can find a bar long enough to fit what we have? I know that adding another bracket (or 2) is easy.
