1950s Refrigerator & Stove to dispose of

We are new owners of an old farm house.
There are numerous old itmes to dispose of
like a 50s vintage refrigerator and stove (both
functioning), Ironing machine (Ironrite) , 1928 vintage
American standard tub (built in) with nickel fixtures..
We would like to see this stuff reused somewhere rather
than taking up space in a landfill.
We could use suggestions.

Re: 1950s Refrigerator & Stove to dispose of

I would recommend looking for a local salvage supplier that might be interested. There is an "antique plumber" in my area who not only sells vintage things, he has a host of replica "vintage" as well. There used to be a few vintage building product suppliers as well, though I've been out of the business long enough now that I'm not sure what's available locally for me. At any rate, between Google, Craigslist, and your local yellow pages you're likely to find someone who will find a great new home for your vintage appliances.

Lots of people actually will buys these. Post for free on your local CraigsList. On Ebay, contact antique stoves, antique salvage companies.
