I have what I believe is Powdery Mildew on my back lawn and I am trying to figure out what to do about it. What I have read so far is not realistic, increasing air flow, increasing sun exposure, etc. I installed sod in the summer last year so the aeration recommendation does not seem to be legit either. I have read that fungicides will not work, though I did hear that you can use a mixture of baking soda, water and soap.
Is there anything else I can do to be proactive? Watering less is not an option since I have only watered it once and it rains a lot here in Chicago in spring. Please help!
