Faded Red/charcoal concrete pavers

Hi all,

I recently installed a concrete paver walkway at my home. I made the mistake of using polymetric sand from sackrete and did not clean the dust off enough. The dust stained the pavers brown. In an attempt to remove the stains I got the pavers wet, scrubed them with vinager and promptly rinsed them off. I read on the internet that this would remove staining caused by polymetric sand. Unforunately, it did not do a good job removing the stains and it also seemed to remove some of the red and charcoal dye from the pavers. My pavers now look pink and grey. However, they look fine when they are wet. Is there any way to correct this? Do you think pressure washing the pavers will restore the pavers origninal color? Any advice would be greatly appriecatied.

Thank you,

The disheartened homeowner.
