I have two old dressers with drawers that do not glide out very easily. The drawers glide 'wood-on-wood', creating sawdust as they are pulled out or pushed in (if you can get them in or out). They were made before any type of glide--metal or plastic. There is also very little room (maybe an eighth of an inch or less clearance-top and side): a)L-brackets are too thick; and, b)there is a wooden divider between each drawer layer. Other than insetting the L-bracket into the wood, does anyone have any suggestions to get these drawers more useable?
