New This Month for Insiders: TOH Seasons 19 and 20
Revisit the renovation of the Milton House and a 1906 church conversion in these freshly added episodes
After one false start, we’re happy to report that Seasons 19 and 20 of This Old House are finally up and viewable.
In Season 19, check out the Milton House, an antique Colonial farmhouse where This Old House was both renovator and owner. The hold-nothing-back dream project, in 1997, included experts such as Julia Child, who was filmed in one episode chiming in on the kitchen design. And there’s an enviable workshop that Norm created in the house’s old red barn.
Season 19 also features the renovation of a 1930s Pueblo Revival stucco house in Tucson, Arizona.
For the show’s 20th-anniversary season, the crew tackled a sprawling 1886 Queen Anne–style Victorian in the Boston suburb of Watertown. The finished house has a beautifully restored original oak staircase and a quartersawn oak butler’s pantry.
Season 20 also includes the renovation/conversion of a 1906 Arts and Crafts–style church in San Francisco into a single-family home.
