In this special episode, we make several important improvements. Kevin helps make a home accessible for a homeowner in a wheelchair by modifying a bathroom and several different sets of stairs. Later, Tom and Kevin rebuild a dangerous staircase for a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing.

The metal wheelchair ramp used in the garage is manufactured by American Access.

The grab bars installed in the bathroom are manufactured by Healthcraft.

The non-slip ceramic tile for the bathroom floor was provided by The Belknap White Group.

Electrical work was performed by Delaney Electric with materials supplied by Needham Electric.

Tom and Kevin rebuild a dangerous staircase for a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing.
