Summer may be long gone, but that's no reason to skip sunscreen. "It's essential to wear SPF 30 every day, rain or shine, because ultraviolet rays can damage your skin in any season," says Debra Jaliman, MD, a dermatologist in New York City. Check the label for "broad spectrum"—your assurance that it protects against UVA and UVB rays—and reapply every two hours when you're outside.
