As a homeowner, it’s normal to worry about worst-case scenarios, like a fire breaking out, a lightning strike hitting your house, or your home being burglarized. A home insurance policy can help alleviate some of these concerns, as it helps protect your property from the unexpected in exchange for a monthly premium.
But selecting the best home insurance company for you can be a difficult task. Not all home insurance policies are equal. Some exceed others in terms of coverage, cost, customer service quality, and more. The This Old House Reviews Team created this in-depth Capital Insurance Group review to help you determine if it’s the best fit for your needs.

Capital Insurance Group Reviews
Capital Insurance Group is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and holds an A+ rating from the organization. However, its profile only features one review, which has a 1-star rating. The lone Capital Insurance Group review refers to auto insurance and personal insurance.
Michael C. said:
“Steer clear this company, it’s completely selfish and will NOT help you as the insured. At the time of loss, I have six cars on my policy. I carry the highest coverage possible $500,000 and $1 million umbrella with another $1 million on my property as well. I was involved in a NOT at fault accident and the other insurance company accepted 100% responsibility for the loss causing myself with $0 out of pocket so I’m told I figured I would use MY insurance company (cig)to handle the claim. Worst mistake of my life. I was beaten down but CIG. My loss was on a brand new Honda Pilot elite less than 10 months old. I pay an extra premium on top of my auto coverage for audio and video equipment as well Long story short this company completely screwed me over.”
