Window In Tub Surround

My husband and I just purchased a colonial style home (built 1915) and need to update the only full bathroom in the house. Currently, it only has a bathtub and we are planning on turning it into a shower. The only issue is what to do with the wood framed window above the bathtub. We are debating between putting in a glass block window or boarding it up entirely. I would prefer to keep the window as it adds some much needed natural light to the room but am worried that from the outside, a glass block window will detract from the style of the home. Do we have any other options that would fit in with the style of the home?

Re: Window In Tub Surround

Replace the window with vinyl window and trim. Add a short shower curtain for privacy.

Just sell binoculars.
