Window boxes on brick

I would like to install window boxes under a few windows on my house but cannot figure out how to do it on brick. Anyone have any ideas

Re: Window boxes on brick

Look into "Tapcon" type masonry fasteners- I use these all the time and the work great. There are some 'generic' brands that seem to do just as well. You'll need a hammer-drill and the proper bit which is sold next to the fasteners. You'll also need the appropriate driver bit for the fastener used. Make sure to drill into a solid portion of the brick- not near an edge or into the mortar.

Available in any 'big box' store and considering the effort they save they're cheap enough.
