White on White?

We are moving into a new house and want to paint the living room. We've chosen an off-white or warm white for the trim including crown which we want to keep and paint. The ceiling is presently a pure white. Do I paint the crown with the warmer trim white and the ceiling the same brighter white that it is now? Or paint both crown and ceiling with the trim color? Or both crown and ceiling bright white with the rest of the room trim in the warmer white? Or...??????????

Re: White on White?

If you grab a paint chip strip with the white you want, get 3 colors (shades) of white in the same tone, you could paint the walls the darkest, ceiling the medium, and the crown moulding the lightest for a great monotone look.
