Where to place the two required outlets with in 2' of my sink when I have 6' window over the sink?

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question but I am currenlty remodeling my kitchen and I have ran into an issue with outlet placement. I know that the NEC requires one outlet on each side of the sink within 2 feet of the edge of the sink, but I have a rather large window (6' wide) that happenes to have about 4-5 inches of space between the top of the granite and the window sill. The sink is going to be about 30" wide so, placing the oultets on the left and right of the widow isnt an option since it would be greater than 2' away from the edge of the sink. I may be able to place the boxes horizontally but I would have to cut into the double sill plate, which im not sure if I could do as well as it may place the outlet too close to the counter top. Do I have any other options? I will upload a photo of it later as I currenlty dont have one on me.
