Where to find antique victorian fireplace tiles

We recently purchased an 1890-vintage home in Ohio. The house's 7 fireplaces are all faced in what appears to be the original, Victorian-style tile. What makes the tile unique is its size--it is approximately 1" wide by 5" long by approx 1/4" thick.

Many of the tiles are either missing or cracked. The likelihood of finding exact-match replacement tiles is small, but I would like to retain that style of tile on the fireplaces.

Does anyone know of a likely supplier that might carry reproduction antique tile of this size, or anyone who might carry salvaged tile of this type?

I've searched the internet but to no avail.

Thank you very much, Bob

Re: Where to find antique victorian fireplace tiles

Hi, We actually have quite a selection of tile right now ranging in dates from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Do you have a picture of what you are looking for and we can try to match it?

Hi Bob,

I have several fireplace tiles that were distroyed while renovating. I found two places that we very helpful with new tile that matched my old tile. L'esperance custom matched the colors.

Good luck,
