What's the biggest house in your area?

In my county, it's this place: 20,000 square feet, brick, English basement, 1400 sq ft of porches, 56 rooms, 28 fireplaces, 12 bathrooms, and 250 feet from end to end. Built in 1820, and enlarged in 1886.

Oh, style wise (must stay on-topic) it's Jeffersonian Classical/federal

the biggest ive built is 9200 sq ft with a 4 car garage, the biggest ive seen recently in is 12,000 which my old framing crew built. and supposedly i might be framing and siding a 14,000 this fall. just a matter if the numbers go in our favor

In terms of old homes, this now private home is 12000 square feet with indoor courtyard. Albeit was expanded when it was an old folks home and the original was built as two homes.

In terms of newer construction, we do have a 14000 square foot home that looks more like a building.
