Wet room or wall-less shower? Have you done this?

I think they call it wet room in the UK. I think it comes from Universal Design. But it seems to offer many advantages.

The ones I have seen have a curtain that hangs from a track in the ceiling.

Have you seen this? What would you call it? How difficult would it be to install compared with a walk in shower?

We installed a Schluter kerdi and ditra-waterproofed floor and a bathroom remodel job this last summer. The shower had knee walls, and the floor was all pre-sloped with dry-pack to a single drain. We looked into a trench drain, but it seemed ill-suited to the situation; would be excellent in a slab or new construction, IMHO.
The area for the toilet itself was leveled-off, as it sat at a high point (against a wall) and was sheltered somewhat by one of the knee walls.
The tile was 2x2 slate.
