Water Softening System

I am planning on installing a water softening system in my home and I've been investigating several system options. One type of system (brand name "EasyWater") uses no chemicals or salt and claims to be more environmentally safe and economical than traditional salt based ion exchange systems. This system uses electronic frequencies which cause minerals to lose the electrostatic charge that makes them to stick to pipes, water heaters, dishes, etc... It also claims to reverse existing mineral build-up in plumbing. The only problem is I haven't been able to find any information to verify that the company's performance claims are legitimate. The up-front cost is about the same as a traditional salt based system but there's no maintenance or salt to buy. Does anybody know if this system really works?

Re: Water Softening System

there are 2 online magazine you can look at for some water filtration info: 1. Water Techonlogy mag online. 2. Plumbing & Mechanical mag by BNP Media.
