Water pressure fluctuates

I just moved in to a new house and the water pressure is a bit low, plus it fluctuates... it slowly increases pressure, then goes back to what it was, and it will cycle like this. The house is on a private well.(I'm wondering if the pressure tank my be waterlogged and could cause this problem?)The house was built in 1993 and the only thing that has been changed (plumbing wise) is the hot water tank. Any suggestions or answers would be a help. Thanks.

Re: Water pressure fluctuates

if i'm wrong i'm sure plenty of people here will let me know, but, if i remember correctly, richard trethewy had this issue on an ask TOH episode. i believe that the problem was that the water storage tank has a diaphram in it and it has to be recharged with air occasionally. i believe that has something to do with keeping the water pressure even to some degree.
