Question: In our proposed bathroom remodel my wife and I want to move the location of our toilet, can I vent the toilet through an outside wall?
Are you wanting the vent pipe to come out of the wall or go through the wall to the roof? You need to check with local plumbing codes. Call the local building department and make sure. I think they will tell you it has to go up above the roof line. If you aren't wanting to do that, ask them if you can use a studer valve. It is a device that allows you to run the vent into the wall cavity. That way you don't have to make a wall or roof penetration.
