In the last episode I watched there was a segment on the Arlington arts & crafts show. There was a bit where regular dish soap was used in the dishwasher that overloaded with suds. The solution is much easier than taking the wet/ dry vacuum to extract. Simply put a cap full of liquid fabric softener inside the base of the dishwasher pan an resume the cycle. The fabric softer will reduce the access bubbles and foam. Simply run through the cycle and restart the dishwasher with the appropriate detergent. This can also be used on water features or monuments where kids pull a little mischief. I am in the multifamily industry and this happens with frequency especially with younger generation not knowing the difference or rowdy young adults who think it's funny to throw soap in the water features. Next time you run accross this problem, try it out. It works with little effort.
