using a cork board for a sub floor

We're putting the laminate floor on top of the concrete slab. To make the floor a bit warmer, I was thinking of using a cork board and putting it between the vapor barrier and the laminate floor. Would it work? If not, what would you suggest for making the floor warmer?

thanks...

Re: using a cork board for a sub floor

I won't rehash my experience here, but here's the thread where I go through what I did installing cork in our house (albeit under carpet).

We're very happy with our experience.
