Using 5 y/o pre-pasted wallpaper

It's from Brewster, made in the UK.

I bought a fixer upper double and after the roof, electrical, plumbing, porches, bad tenants, overtime, etc., etc., I'm finally up another rung of the ladder well enough to wallpaper my own dining room.

Other than cleaning and priming the walls, because the wallpaper is that old, anything else I can do to ensure proper adhesion? I've kept it in the coolest area of my house but every summer WNY gets a run of 90 degree weather.

Thanks -

Just make sure the glue paste you use is fresh.

Thanks.

So the pre-paste on it is now shot?

Oh, great! lol

Well, should I wet the paper first or just treat it as tho' no pre-paste is on it.

Thank you again -
