Unknown hardware found in basement. Concrete anchors? Please help!

Hi, I recently found 4 of these "anchors" in a drawer in the basement of my house. I am wondering if anyone knows what these are from and/or what they are for?

So I found these pieces of hardware, some sort of anchor maybe? Does anyone have a clue as to what these are?

Thanks!

You can upload the pictures to a free service like Photobucket and post the link or e- mail them to me and I'll post them for you. Include TOH pics in the subject line and your TOH user name in to body .

Ok, I think I have the pictures figured out now. I found these pieces in my basement and cannot figure out what they would be used for. Does anyone have any ideas?

Got me stumped! In 30 years of industrial, commercial, and residential construction I've never seen anything like it. If there's any lettering or number on it, punch that into Google and see what you get ;) Then let US know!

I'll add that in my 30+ years around construction and building, I've never seen anything like that too.

There seems to be a number or name molded on the rib and a logo on the top plastic.

I wonder if they are the shipping supports for a clothes washer which are removed during installation. People think they will save them then forget what the heck they are....

Usually bright colors so people can see them.

Bad threading to go through sheet metal easily

Hook to grap the adjoining part to they will be steady when the driller gets to it on the factory line

Metal plate on the head to grab the tub

Sound about right ? Let me know what I've won.

Houston Remodeler, you are the winner! After further review, the plastic had the date code of 04/08, which was also the year of the washer/dryer models. Thanks for all the help!

These look like the anchors that you remove & toss from a new washing machine, 4 would be the right number.

They look a tad familiar to me as well, I'd bet you're right, they're lock-down hardware from a washing machine.
