Tommy's Work Table

What is the work bench / work table that I see Tom Silva using? It has a top with multiple holes and is split down the middle to allow him to clamp routers and other tools between the halves.

This seems like some sort of uberWorkMate.

Guess what? I may have found the answer myself. I think it is a Festool product. Tommy seems to like them. I believe his little cordless drill/screwdriver is a Festool, and I remember seeing him demonstrate a plunge saw with guide to cut panels.

Is it possible that Germany is making better quality, more innovative tools than the Chinese made ones that carry North American brand names?

Re: Tommy's Work Table

He's got connections with Norman. He probably begged him to build it for him. While we're on the subject, I think Tom Silva rides Norm's coat tails :)

Let's give the professional his due, there have been seasons when one or the other was not on the show and each have worked in their own rite to add to that season.

Re: Tommy's Work Table

It was a joke.
