Toilets that plug up often

I have 2 toilets that can plug up even when nothing is flushed except the water that is in it.

They are on the 1st & 2nd floor above one another.

Can a plugged up vent pipe cause this condition?

Thanks

Re: Toilets that plug up often

From the info you wrote, one can assume that the two toilets share the same drain and vent.
Do they both have the stoppages at the same time?
If yes, then the problem is likely to be in the drain. Clear the drain and see if it solves it.
If no, then clear the toilets, make sure not to scrath the toilet surface.

Thank you for your help.

Yes, they do share the same stack. The shower shares it also with no issues.

They do stop up when flushed together, but sometimes even individually.

I'll check the drain.

Thank you again.
