Tobacco Advertising

I have been surprised and disappointed recently to find tobacco advertising in TOH. I've been reading it for years, and this in new.

As a RE agent, I can tell you that homes that smell like tobacco are not even salable. The smell beats even cat urine as a turn-off to buyers.

Why the new addition?

Re: Tobacco Advertising

You may want to ask TOH magazine directly, since this forum is kind of independent from the magazine.

I still agree with you. On all my jobs in the past, I had a "no smoking" policy, I had a sign posted. I never smoked and I certainly never wanted to breathe second hand smoke. If somebody had to smoke, or otherwise die, he/she had to do it "over there".

I know that there's a ban on tobacco advertising in newspapers, but I'm not sure it includes magazines.

I'll take cigarette smoke over cat urine any day. I don't smoke or own a cat, but I've encountered both over the years.
