Time to Test Run Your Heater

Just a reminder,

Whatever heating system you have in your house, now would be a good time to inspect it and service it, to ensure correct and trouble free operation when you are going to need it. In some areas around the country, nights are getting cold already.

If you need work done on your heater, don't hesitate to find a tech or a plumber to repair it now. Waiting for the last minute usually will cost you more money.

Yep, I have to have a duct replaced because I am currently injured and can't do it myself. A $100 job became 4x as much due to unforeseen circumstances and bad timing, all the good HVAC companies are busy this time of year.

I have an annual service contract with two inspections a year. They clean, inspect and of course usually do a softball sales pitch for a new unit. The last guy here put a union in the condensate line so it could easily be cleaned out, no charge. This company also puts you in a favored list because of the contract that will bump you up for emergency repairs.

Hey Spruce: hope you heal quickly and completely. Never any fun being less than 100%.

Thanks guys, I'm starting to regain the ability to move and breathe again. You don't appreciate being able to sneeze or cough until you can't!
