They ruined the Coolply

I watched the episode where they spray-foamed the house. I noticed that they went to extra expense of using roof sheathing with a radiant barrier. Smart move on the Gulf Coast. But then the insulation people spray the foam directly on it, ruining it. WHY?

In order for the radiant barrier to work, it must face down and not have ANYTHING touching it. They completely negated any benefits the homeowner would have had from the product. It makes no sense at all.

Re: They ruined the Coolply

over engineering and it might still work.

Re: They ruined the Coolply

I agree foam doesn't trasfer heat or cold. Probably wayyyy over the top.
