These Old Rattles

I have triple track storm windows that are well over 30 years old; longer than I've owned the house.

I don't want to replace them.

The glass panels rattle in storms. They seem to move in and out. (v.s. up and down)

They seem a bit precarious if one pushes out - it's almost enough to disengage the latch. I can't imagine the windows shrinking or the track expanding. But there it is.

I'm tempted to caulk them closed (I don't use the screens), but there ought to be a better solution.

Is there weatherstripping suitable for solving this? Or perhaps flat metal spring? Or??

Has anyone encountered/solved a similar problem? If so, what did you do?

Thx in advance.

I would recommend having a local glass company come out and give you some options. It's possible that they just need new weather strip, and the glass guy will know what course of action to take. Don't like his answer, get two or three more opinions before you decide what to do.
