Thanks for all the info..anyone looking at the before and after would never believe they are the same house. Love the house, love the location, love the owl and as I said before appreciate the efforts of the craftsmen to keep the web-viewers informed. When we were banished to the garage I knew the floors were getting refinished. It appears that some light fixtures and door knobs and unpacking of what I assume is cabinetry and it will be time for the moving vans. I am curious as to why the "desecration" of the bottom half of the dining area back wall. I'm guessing there are buffet cabinets in those boxes (at least that's what I'd put there) but don't understand why the need to "rough up" the wall. Look forward to seeing the TOH "version".

"Desecration" might be too strong a word, but it's going to be the whole wall and as for motivation, I guess we'll have to wait for that episode & see what the interior decorator & wife have to say.

Maybe it will fall off soon!
