Supply Line to Toilet

My husband installed a new supply line to our toilet. Water flows back through the supply line at an infuriating trickling pace. It takes about half-an-hour for it to refill. He has checked the valve and cannot find any problem and this man is an engineer. Can anyone give me any hints so I could work on it while he is not home.

Re: Supply Line to Toilet

Was this supply line replaced from the shutoff to the tank and is it a flexible hose?

If it's the flexible hose type you can disconnect it from the tank .... place the disconnected end into a container and turn on the shutoff to check if there is a good supply flow. If there is ... there may be some debris in the fill valve restricting the flow into the tank.

Just a thought.:)
