Subfloor Repair Under Baseboard Heater
nicholas mccall...

I need to replace a 5 foot section of subfloor running along a wall underneath baseboard heaters. The subfloor is damaged from a leak that has now been fixed. The trouble is that it will be difficult to entirely remove the existing subfloor because the heaters are in the way. Anyone have any advice how to remove all the subfloor (and then install new plywood) without removing the heaters?

You can remove parts of the heater (the parts that cover the copper pipe), which may be in the way, and maybe be able to do the repair. Otherwise, a plumber could help disconnecting the pipes and reconnecting later.
