my new house has stone outside wall and is leaking above the window and seeping around the window and in.I think the leak is in a masonary joint. any suggestions will be considered.
Typically, a leak that is coming into the home from the top of a window is from a window or opening above it. Believe it or not, your masonry is not waterproof. The building envelope is established before the brick goes on. It is probably from improper flashing.
