Re: Spring Planting in our vegetable garden

A relative that moved to the eastern shore of Md. told a story when one of his crew brought in a cooler filled with muskrats trapped in the local swamps. The critters were dressed out, but the heads were left on supposedly to prove they weren't rats.
I'm thinking lots of bacon and smoking and at least a case of beer. ;)
On second thought I believe I'll stick to the local water fowl.

To get this thread back more towards the gardening side of things, what are your thoughts about rabbit, which look strangely like a cat when dressed out.:(:p;)

Rabbits are like renewable food, you don't run out of them. They're tasty too.

I'd send this one to Jack, but the point would be moot :(
